With Værhed, we want to contribute to a society where more people feel that they belong, and where we take a greater interest in one another. We're inviting cafés to help make this vision part of everyday life.
A gentle invitation to meet
As a Værhed café, you make it easier for guests to have conversations with people they might otherwise not have talked to.
The Værhed conversation box is a visible invitation: when a guest places it on their table, it signals that others are welcome to join and chat. The questions in the box help start the conversation.
People can come alone or with others. Participation is always optional, and there's always room to simply enjoy your coffee in peace.
A local place to belong
Our ambition goes beyond any single conversation. We want more people to be met with curiosity, to get to know new people, and to feel inspired to take part in the life around them.
As a Værhed café, you're helping create the conditions for that to happen – right in the middle of the everyday space you're already part of.
